MRI Imaging

The most detailed look inside without a single incision. Our high-field, wide-bore MRI delivers hospital-grade images in a setting built for comfort.

Common MRI exams

  • Spine - neck and back pain, disc and nerve evaluation
  • Joints - knee, shoulder, hip and ankle injuries
  • Brain and neurological studies
  • Abdominal and pelvic imaging
  • Soft tissue and sports injuries
  • MRI arthrograms and contrast studies when ordered

What to expect at your MRI

Plan for 20-45 minutes in the scanner depending on the study. Our wide-bore magnet gives noticeably more room than older machines, you'll have music and a call button, and our technologists talk you through every sequence. Claustrophobia concerns are common and normal - tell us when booking and we'll walk through the options that help, from positioning to your physician's guidance on relaxation medication.

Your images are read by a board-certified radiologist - typically subspecialty-matched to the body part - with the report to your referring provider within 24-48 hours.

Common questions

Is MRI safe?

MRI uses magnets and radio waves - no radiation. The screening questions about implants and metal exist because the magnet is always on; answer thoroughly and the exam is very safe.

What does an MRI cost here?

Typically far less than hospital-based imaging - and we quote your exact exam, with your insurance or our self-pay rate, before you book.

Do I need a referral?

For diagnostic MRI, yes - your physician, chiropractor, or other qualified provider can send the order. We can request it from their office for you.
