Ultrasound Imaging

Real-time imaging with zero radiation - performed by registered sonographers who take the time to get the pictures right.

Ultrasound exams we perform

  • Abdominal - gallbladder, liver, kidneys and more
  • Vascular - carotid, venous and arterial studies
  • Thyroid and neck
  • Pelvic and obstetric imaging
  • Scrotal and soft-tissue studies
  • Doppler blood-flow evaluation

The sonographer makes the study

Ultrasound is the most operator-dependent imaging there is - the difference between an adequate study and an excellent one is the person holding the probe. Our registered, credentialed sonographers are unhurried by design: schedules built with enough time to do thorough work, because rescanning you next week helps nobody.

Images are read by board-certified radiologists with reports to your provider within 24-48 hours, and urgent findings communicated immediately.

Common questions

Why do some exams need a full bladder?

A full bladder is an acoustic window for pelvic studies - annoying and genuinely useful. Your booking instructions will say exactly what your exam needs.

Is ultrasound safe in pregnancy?

Yes - it's the standard imaging of pregnancy precisely because it uses sound, not radiation.

How long does an ultrasound take?

Most run 30-45 minutes - scheduled with real time so the study is done thoroughly, once.

Gentle imaging, expert eyes.
